Following on from the last post with photos, from Craig Oliphant, of Consett East as it was in 1983, I’ve been sent a couple of photos showing it as it is today.

Early start st the East when 6K40 the oil train ran 4.30 am usually as a relief Signalman at Consett happy days they where.
40 years, it scares me to think about how long ago I took most of my photos, mostly with the thanks to a dear friend Les Abram who I toured the Northeast with capturing these moments.
