With the easing of lockdown and a return to the layout, work is progressing. The Up and Down Consett lines are now complete along the 18′ length of the initial scenic section of the layout and the addition of temporary tracks at either end has allowed the first train to make the journey from one end to the other:
Work has also begun on the lever frame that will control all the turnouts and signals. The levers are from DCC Concepts, suitably painted.
