Not much to look at but I reckon there is a good chance that this could be the last piece of in-situ track between South Pelaw and Consett. It isn’t part of the main line but in the area between the still standing NCB shed at Stella Gill and the main line to Consett.
It is the middle of the three tracks behind the shed shown on the map section below the photo.
