SPA

First up for the steel wagons is an SPA from the Cambrian kit.  Brand new examples of the SPA in the, then new, Railfreight branding were seen at Consett in 1979  as seen in this pic:

The kit was built pretty much out of the box with simple modifications made to the W-Irons to enable to P4 wheels to fit.

Basic body is assembled.

As much weights as possible added underneath. The left hand W-Iron is glued in place with the one on the left allowed to rock.

Body painted and decals applied, just couplings to fit.
